The Official Medallion of the 2016 Iditarod Race features an Alaskan Husky on the run kicking up snow. The reverse of the medallion is the Official Iditarod logo. Only 3,000 Iditarods will be struck for 2016.

The Official Iditarod Medallion contains one ounce of .999 Fine Silver, individually serial numbered, with a limited mintage of 3,000 pieces. The Iditarod medallion is second only to the Official State Medallion series for after market demand and price appreciation potential.
